HOTEL W

Hotel W, better known as Hotel Vela, is one of the best hotels in the world in the world and a lot of people come to Barcelona to enjoy the fantastic views from the hotel and also to relax with its incredible rooms and spa.

Hotel Vela is an absolutely innovated building, it was built in 2001 by Ricard Bofill Leví, its height is 98,8m and it has eight lifts, it's made of millions of glass panels, in this way the people who are outside can't see anything. It seems a sailing boat, due to its shape of a boat, it's near the sea, so you can think that it's a true boat. Rich people who visit Barcelona and famous people, spend some nights in this hotel, the rooms are spectacular and the views pf the sea are definitely amazing, and it also has a swimming pool outside by the sea!

At the beginning some people said that its shape was the same of a famous hotel in Dubai, so it wasn't a creative idea, but in my opinion Hotel W is one of the best hotels I ever visited and it's located in a good area of Barcelona.
